YMMV, but I feel better on the shakes too. I only eat food cuz it is the

thing to do. I can live on those things..and feel the best when I am. You do,

or so " they " say, need some roughage...but I truly believe that if your body

feels best doing one thing, that's the thing you need to do. It's all a

personal decision though.

Becky,

When I have tried this (and I usually only do a day or two), I

add protein back to the diet first. I usually start with something like

cheese. Sometime I do a salad thing but it is still mostly protein.

Maybe if you did mostly shakes and gradually added food back for a day or

too.

Becky..........I can't believe you posted this. A couple of weeks ago I did

a two day all protein shake fast. I felt like a million bucks and had

energy. As soon as I started added food back (salad and protein, NO carbs)

I felt horrible. In the last two weeks I have eaten very little

food..........but have pretty much lived on protein drinks. For some reason

I have to take a nap after I eat any kind of food......but with the drinks I

feel energized. I also have very little hunger now so I am going to stick

with this combo as long as I can.....I have lost 9 1/2 lb. P.

I'm just wondering if part of the problem has been the summer heat. I

have a hard time eating during the summer.
