Hi,

I just read your post about the adolfs meat tenderizer and your

comment about sushi struck me. I am 14 mos post op, and really can

eat everything without problems. have only thrown up 5 times in the

14 months. Heres my question. I had sushi the other night at dinner

for the first time post surgery. I have never felt so sick since

surgery. i was up all night, not really wanting to throw up, but

that familar feeling that I describe as feeling like I had eaten

rocks....it kept me up until 4 in the morning (and of course I had

meetings at 8AM that day). I was out of town on a biz trip and

almost had the hotel van drive me to the hospital thinking that this

wrenching in my stomach was something very serious. So sushi is the

culprait? Anyone else have issues with it? Gosh, I didnt think that

the little bit of rice in a spicy tuna roll would be that much of a

catalyst

Thanks so much for your post, I feel so much better now that I think

I know what to avoid ...and am going out to buy some adolfs meat

tenderizer today and pack it in my suitcase.
