Guest guest
Hello, I went to my doctor yesterday. They are hoping the infection I had in my lungs is better. Now the doctor is going to start the treatment on the sarcoid. They say its in the second stage pretty much everywhere in the lungs. He is starting me on a high dose of pred.. 50 mg which he said is hard. He told me that Im going to go throught a hard time. One of my problems is getting my family to understand. Were you treated with this? did it help at all? I just hope it does. I have to say im scared. I know the next 4-6 months will be hard. thanks for listening to me please if anyone can help me understand more about all this please do so Mona I am new to this group...I have been unofficially diagnosed with Neurosarcoidosis. .@ least that is what my neurologist thinks..All I know is that on Oct 6, 2008 my life changed..I woke up dizzy..off balance...unable to focus..blurred vision.. & it got progressively worst...I then noticed weakness in my right leg that then went to my left..now I am unable to walk up stairs I now walk with a cane & I need help getting out of bed...it's as if my muscles were shredded in a blender and now I don't have any strength.. Can anyone let me know if they experienced the same problems as me,, and will it get better? Thanks for listening!
Guest guest
Connie, Braden is my first. I just wore myself out the last three weeks and I guess it really got me. Saw my doc today and if my breathing isn't better on Monday we will do an xray. I gotta get better cause I have a granddaughter coming next month too. I missed a shower for her Momma today at a place I have been dying to go to but have never had the opportunity. Well, I still have three more to go to but this is my first granddaughter. They will all be very special no matter how many my children prrovide. Braden finally lost his cord today and his Mom called to tell me how cute his little belly button is. I hate missing this stuff. The other grandmothers are healthy and I can't stand not being able to do what I want. Their stepgrandmother doesn't go that much and she is healthy. It really sucks. I want to go and can't. I don't think she will trade places with me what do ya think? Wow, I am not sure where all this is coming from but thanks for letting me vent. Well, I am sure I will be in a better mood when I feel better so thanks for everything. Guest guest
Good evening. Can anyone tell me the benefits of Folic-Acid? I just got my prescriptions filled and was looking everything up again and I can only find it helpful in anemia (SP). I checked in my lab and with the Iron I take I am not in danger of anemia. Can anyone help. I know you are all busy and sick so it is no hurry for this. Thank you Jackie
