anyone who is or taken cellcept question

I have been on cellcept now for 1 month now and i am on 1000mg 2x day =2000mg day. and i am starting to have some weird things happening my feet are off and on starting to turn purple and when i walk feel like pins and needles .. and my hands are really swelled ...and i am losing my hair... i had one head of thick hair and now its very thin .. and i have hair coming out in my hands. If anyone has taken this or is on it and has had similar sideffects please leave me know...

I too am on cellcept at 1000mg twice a day and have been taking it for a month.

I have some strange side effects too- especially the thinning hair. I got very

ill each time i increased my dose- they tapered me up on it so they can taper

down my pred. I get a numb, tingly feeling in my mouth, throat, and neck after I

take it. My doc seems to think this treatment will help me the most as well as

allow me to decrease the pred dose. I am still relatively new to the med just

like you, but want you to know YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I am eager to see if anyone

else has any input on this. Take Care!
