wowww hair on your chest . that must be terriable.. i hope the dr can help you. It does sound like a hormone problem, but with these drugs you never know...

good luck with your appt next week

Many Blessings A.

jessica,

The purple feet thing is something that you need to address. It generally is a sign that you aren't getting circulation to your feet, and this is not a good thing.

The tingling, etc is a side effect, so you may need to go even slower in increasing your dosage, or they may need to try one of the other BRM's.

Talk with your pharmacist, and make sure they know ALL the different meds you are on-- so that you aren't ending up with some kind of interaction.

I know that I've developed alot of body hair issues since I started the Remicade--- all that has been lost on top of my head is found on my chest and abdomen-- buggers...

I see an endo next week, and am hoping that she can figure out if it's thyroid issues, thymus issues, or an adrenal insufficiency issue - or all of the above. I suspect that I've got some new hormone issues overall, so will be addressing more stuff....

Do talk it over with the pharmacist-- he may be able to tell you what to take at the same time as the Cellcept, and what to take at a different time of day. It may be that simple.

Take care,

Tracie

I too am on cellcept at 1000mg twice a day and have been taking it for a month. I have some strange side effects too- especially the thinning hair. I got very ill each time i increased my dose- they tapered me up on it so they can taper down my pred. I get a numb, tingly feeling in my mouth, throat, and neck after I take it. My doc seems to think this treatment will help me the most as well as allow me to decrease the pred dose. I am still relatively new to the med just like you, but want you to know YOU ARE NOT ALONE! :) I am eager to see if anyone else has any input on this. Take Care!Dawn>> I have been on cellcept now for 1 month now and i am on 1000mg 2x day =2000mg day. and i am starting to have some weird things happening my feet are off and on starting to turn purple and when i walk feel like pins and needles .. and my hands are really swelled ...and i am losing my hair... i had one head of thick hair and now its very thin .. and i have hair coming out in my hands. If anyone has taken this or is on it and has had similar sideffects please leave me know... > I hope this email finds everyone having a healthy pain free day.> > Many Blessings A.>
