Guest guest
I am 5 weeks post op. Calm down at little and start concentrating on two things. First, do you have a childs sip cup or squeeze bags? If not get the childs sip cup right away. Take a knife and position the point in one of the holes on the sip spout, carefully hammer down so that the blade opens up the holes a bit more. Then start drinking water from this cup every two hours for the next week or so. Your throat will feel better after one day, I had a cough that was because I wasn't getting enough water. Get antibiotics for the infection right away. You want to take them as instructed and finish the whole bottle that they give you. I didn't and my infection came back. Go thru the whole regime as instructed. Get those two thing going and you will begin to get better. Good luck, Dave Lara davegun@... > > i am 1 week post op from upper jaw surgery and i am miserable! > i have been running a fever and have been dehydrated. my throat hurts > soo much that it is hard for me to drink. has anyone had problems > like > this? i need some help and support cuz every day i wake up feeling a > little worse instead of beeter! > > >

Guest guest
That reminds me! I did take Zithromax a 3 day pack when I was wired and it took a week or two but things did finally subside. Take care of yourself!
