as well absorbed.

signs of zinc deficiency include hair loss, mental disturbances, recurrent

infections, acne, impaired night vision and impaired immune function.

toxic effects can occur at levels greater than 150mg. daily over a period of

time. zinc sulfate supplementation can result in gastrointestinal upset and

nausea. rda is 19mg.

zinc competes with copper, iron and calcium for absorption. zinc should be

taken apart from fiber.

typically I see zinc in a 30 or 50mg. dose [not 19]
