Guest guest
Hi Nina I had my surgery on 1 Feb. I drooled loads over the first 10 days or so but it seems to have stopped now. It seemed to stop when my lips stopped being as swollen. The worst thing for me was that I couldn't feel myself drooling until I felt the wet all down my t-shirt or my boyfriend pointed it out to me! I've not got any kind of packing on the roof of my mouth so I can't say much about that. The roof of my mouth was really numb for the first few days after surgery and I thought that I had something stuck to it like when I had to have surgery on my gums and the dentist took a bit of skin from the roof of my mouth to use it elsewhere. I always had the impression that was coming unstuck and I was scared of choking on it but it never happened - I think it turned out that it had been stitched to the roof of my mouth so it couldn't fall off, can't quite remember, it was two years ago. I was well-prepared for everything except the drool. The worst part is that since everything is numb, I can't feel it until it drips. Tres attractive!
