I had my Open (revision from GB Banding in 1999) RNY Aug 03 and just this

week my Opening is starting to close ... It had been a VERY long road for me as

mine ended up getting infected (Celuiltes).... My opening started at 4 inches

and got to be 9 inches deep at one point where I needed a Home RN 2 times a

day to stuff it and clean it ... PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE keep your eye on it for any

redness/fever//Tightness/hot to touch/smelling oozzz...If this happeneds go to

the ER ASAP... don't wait !!!!

Its better to be sent home & have it be nothing than to be told what I was

and have to go threw this (hell)sorry I ended up on the OR table 2 more times

for this infection .....
