Guest guest
I remember someone talking somewhere along the way that they had reconstructive surgery on their scar to improve the looks of it. I had to have an open RNY because of a hernia that was repaired at the same time as my RNY. I keloid (develop excess scar tissue at wound sites) quite badly and my scar is up to 1 " wide at some points and 13 " long. It is quite ugly and I would like to have it fixed at some point when I get a little further down on the scale. Has anyone had this done? If so, how did it go. I will eventually visit the plastic surgery group but I don't know any of them and know most of you all so that is why I wanted to ask you first. Also, I crave potato chips sometime and know that pork rinds are supposed to contain protein vs. being all carbohydrates. I have a small bag every once in a while and feel guilty for doing it. Do they really contain any worthwhile protein or should I just have a bag of chips?? R in Nashville
