Guest guest
I have a meeting with the school superintendent, not sure I spelled that right. She is a very nice lady, used to be a Principal. So keep my in your thoughts and prayers that this meeting will go good. She is trying to keep us from appealing, so is offering up other options. I've thought a lot about what I should of said during the school year, but didn't, so now I will. Thank you all for your words of encouragement, and your prayers, I appreciate them so much. Guest guest
Hi Rose, Yes I met with the superintendent of schools yesterday, she was very nice, and seemed to want whatwas best for na within the " law " of the school. She had already been talking with the School Board, just see what they think, and she said right now they are 50/50 on changing the ruling. She talked about the teacher that would be coming to the house, and outside programs especially for choir, and suggested she might learn gold, to be athletic, I guess to fit in more? na was NO on both of those, she said I don't know anyone, and I don't like golf. I had to remind her that WE are trying to make life " better " for her, and that we would not even be having this talk, had she not broken a very high priority rule! So I feel the meeting went well, we can still appeal, the Board meets Monday and she would see again what they thought. I did remind her that na did this because she did not feel safe, and that is the school responsibility to keep, ALL kids safe, and that I already had her in counseling. The only thing the board can do is, lessen the time to a quarter, rather then a semester out. My husband know just about everyone on the board, this is a small town, so we still might appeal it, I don't think they can go backwards and add more time? She is being very moody, she thinks it's time to start her period, and she is acting that way too. I hate to say it but my MOM was right again, boys are easier to raise then girls Thanks for asking. Hope you are feeling well, God Bless, Marla Marla, when is your meeting? Ramblin' RoseModerator A merry heart is good medicine.
