Rose,

Now you did make me laugh at that response about my doctor. I think doctors say that when they don't know anything about sarcoids. I don't know what happened to my other post either. It did just seem to disappear.

I had another Primary care doctor that never wanted to say any of my symptoms were due to sarcoidosis. I would ask him well do you think its the sarcoids flaring up and he would always say No I don't think it's that. And He is the one that diagnosed me from the start. My mom did a lot of research when I first became sick from sarcoids and she gave me a print out of the symptoms and things to look out for. Also I looked on the Internet and medical books and pamphlets of sarcoidosis. I also read all the info about drugs when I get new meds just to know what the side effect may be or just to know more about the drugs and what to expect. So I pretty much now the symptoms of sarcoids unless something new just happens to come up out of the ordinary. I am glad I have a nurse for a mother. She has done a good job at keeping me informed. My sarcoid

doctor takes his time to explain everything to me and lets me see my lung test and shows me everything. So that I can better understand my test results.

Prednisone has many side effects and I know diabetes is a result so I just pay those two doctors no mind. As for my old doctor, I just tell him what to give me since he never wants to treat me for anything regarding my sarcoids due to the fact that he gave it to me the first time and I couldn't remember anything and had terrible headaches which he thinks was from Prednisone. So he never will treat me for sarcoids but he does sign everything I need and does try to treat me with other meds and for other simple ailments I have a great sarcoids doctor and eye doctors so I am bless in that way. I don't know how well it will go since the diabetes diagnosis but I will keep praying that I don't have any symptoms for now and that they will still be able to treat me.

In the meantime I will be working hard on my part and learning more about how to get and stay healthy as possible.

Oh and Rose, I do need to get rid of that doctor cause she makes me feel like I am just dying. She doesn't explain my info re: my test that well too me and she just thinks I just am fat and even told me I need to work out 5 times a week and that the three day I was doing was nothing. She must really not know anything about Sarcoidosis!!! I think I need to find a new doctor as well!
