New GI who knows about SCD!

I went to see a new GI yesterday (luckily my primary GI wasn't able to see me

this week so I got her by " accident " ). She told me about a patient of hers that

was ready for a colectomy and found SCD. Her words, " SCD literally saved her

life. "

I'm so thrilled to find a doctor who believes that diet DOES make a difference.

She scheduled me for a flex sig scope on Friday to see what's going on with my

stubborn rectal inflammation/irritation.

Thought I'd share the good news that there ARE doctors out there who " believe. "
