Also milk contains sugars which could have also contributed to the dumping. I know many people who only use water for their shakes because of the milk sugars and being lactose intolerant. You could also try soy milk ( I havent been brave enough to attempt that yet). > I am only going on my fourth week after surgery and am still on a soft diet. > Anyway today I had a protein shake. I am currently a little over 2 weeks post op and I CANNOT do protein shakes, because I get a severe stomach ache.
