Guest guest
I do believe that food-combining works because, since I can remember, I've always been sensitive to certain fruits. I once read a book about Edgar Cayce where someone had asked him advice about problems he was having eating fruit. Cayce said it's more of what you're eating the fruit with, not so much the fruit. He said that this person shouldn't eat fruit with starchy foods. I agree with that because if I eat starchy foods too close to when I eat fruit, it bothers my tongue. He also said that oranges and melons should be eaten by themselves. I've always had strange problems with cantelope and other melons to some degree-probably ate them too close to when I would eat other things. I can eat oranges by themselves now, but they make me gassy, so I limit them, so I usually juice them drink with water mixed in. Also, I think the rule of eating fruit by itself doesn't necessarily apply to fruit juice, but I could be mistaken. I did notice that when I mixed honey with lime to make limeade, my tongue bothered me, and I had a strange sick feeling in my gut afterwards. I also had eaten tomatoes with avocado earlier that day. I usually don't add tomato to my guacamole, so that could have been it, too. There is so much to keep track of with food combining when you're not used to it. I try to adhere to it, but I don't always do it. Thanks for info. How do you get rid of your gas? Mine is a real nuisance at time. The gas is the main reason for why I started scd. Has anyone heard of someone being helped to get rid of uncontrollable gas with scd?> > So far, I've been able to get rid of the rectal bleeding and the facial acne while on clo and scd, but the gas is hanging on. Do you think the FCLO with butter would help with this? Any advice or thoughts? Do you know when I could expect to get rid of the excess gas? Could it be yeast?> > Sorry again and thanks.>
