Guest guest
You cramp up badly without potassium. Like when you're in a bad flare and they give you the firey drip in the hospital--that's potassium. I avoid water pills totally. If you have to take them, how about the electrolyte drink to replace it. Avocado, banana, tangerine have great potassium. Dried figs. Google high potassium food. My mom just went through some of this with her blood pressure medicine. Horrible cramping.
Guest guest
You need good potassium and sodium levels to support your adrenals. Low potassium will give you muscle weakness, heart problems and a range of other things. Bananas and tomatoes are high in potassium. Also, what is the effect of the body being stripped of potassium? Mara
