Guest guest
I have had two operation by Dr. O'ryan. Both were condyle removal. The first operation she was too conservative and did not remove enough. The second one did nothing to change the problem of my jaw being over to the right. This has been going on for 4 years now. I found Kaiser to be very helpful in getting this issue worked on. I did have to insist a little to get the x-rays needed to look for the problem. Once there was a diagnosis everything is going smoothly. I do not have to have braces at this point. Dr. O'ryan is great. I do not fault her for possibly doing unnecessary surgeries, the condylectomies. She just wanted to go very conservatively as far as operating was concerned. The breaking of the jaw is dramatic and she thought the condyle was the problem, but now we know the jaw needs to be reformed. I believe she is the head of the department and has a say on who is on board as far as other doctors are concerned. So I have trusted the other doctors that had to look at me while she is gone. Also there will be another doctor in the operating room with her. Although she assured me the last time that she is the principle surgeon during the operation. I can't think of anything else. My surgery is March 4 and I will be wired shut for 2 weeks. Dave Lara > Hello, > > I don't know anything about Dr. O'ryan or Dr. Poor, but I have some > questions for you.
