Guest guest
YES! It helped me get out of a flare so quickly! I juiced cabbage (both red and green - from what I've read, they're pretty much the same, but with some minor differences) with strawberries and diluted it with water. It was actually quite good that way. A lot of website suggest using carrots but I really enjoyed the berries a lot more. I don't know that I got up to 4 cups a day (I certainly didn't sustain it for 14 days) but I did a one or two day juice fast with the cabbage juices (and drank some with food for a few days after). I didn't start that way but my body just told me it needed a break from solid food. My flare came under control so quickly after starting! Due to the fact that I am having a lot of pain that I think may be the beginning of Crohn's in my small intestine (ileum area specifically) I am on to a new experiment. I have read a lot about juicing raw cabbage to heal ulcerations. I plan on juicing twice a day - hopefully 4 cups a day total for 14 days. Anyone ever try this? I will post my results. > > Dawn >
Guest guest
You're welcome. It will work for us too! It has a very high percentage rate of success. So I am hopeful. Also don't forget to drink water throughout the day. A dehydrated digestive system causes many digestive problems too. Thanks Terri! Let's do this together! > > >> > >> > > I've tried it but I never kept up with it. I'm sure you know, but it's> > red cabbage that's healing, not green.
