Guest guest
Lorraine, Glucosamine-Chondroitin is good stuff. I don't know about the other ingredients, but my Vet had me give 1500/1200 mg to my old arthritic dog, and it helped him tremendously and didn't seem to bother his stomach. He did say that it doesn't always work for everyone, but I'm glad it worked for you. Some also say the MSM is even better, but I have no experience with that. I'm glad you're feeling better. in NJ
Guest guest
This is EXACTLY what happened to me! I weighed the risk of pain .v. freedom. I decided to take the Vioxx with all the precautions, made sure I had something in the pouch, took my Zantac! But you are right, the first sign of trouble can be the last........I started hemorrhaging BIG TIME......ended up in the hospital for 4 days and needed to pints of blood. I by no means want to " scare " anyone....just inform and share. I knew the risk and I took them.......but I gotta tell ya.......I felt awfully guilty for the people who love me and were scared to death that I was going to bleed to death that night.......I didn't weigh that into the equation.....for me that was tough~! I really appreciate you guys being so willing to " share " your finds with all of us!! They sent me home with 200 Darvocet and told me to not even THINK of Vioxx or Excedrin again. The Darvocet works wonders (for now) but I don't want to have to live on this high of a dose so I am glad for these alternatives!!! THANKS guys, you are the best........... P. I have read where some have said > that they have taken Vioxx for years and no problems. My > understanding that that is one of the problems. By the time you KNOW > there is a problem, you are in serious trouble. My Doc did say one > concern was that the related complications could come with absolutely > no warning. ----- Original Message ----- From: " Lorraine " <>
