Guest guest
I saw my surgeon yesterday afternoon and they do not take the gallbladder out unless you already have stones. I am going to have to do an ultrasound before surgery to determine this. Dora Re: pregnancy after wls I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and am on a group that is also just for women who are pregnant and trying to get pregnant after GBS. We are all doing fine and the babies are awesome. Mine is actually measuring a couple weeks bigger than my due date. There is really no difference after surgery asd long as you wait at least a year, by then you should be eating well and getting in your multi vitamins, your b-12 and your calcium. When you start trying to conceive get on some folic acid to help prevent birth defects, you do not have to wait until prego to get on those, starting early is best and most of us take 800 mcg daily. We have had several sets of fraternal twins too on the 2 groups I am on. I think we DO get more fertile after we lose weight.
