Kimba -- No idea on the braces, however, I do have comments.

My Okie husband (or that's where I blame it on !!) was born with ONLY

" little " or baby teeth !!! He's now 42, and there were never and " adult " teeth

under

the babies, so by this age, they've all crumbled (basically). Hummm, is that

why he's never really grown up??? Oopps, another subject! =)

Anyway, he is in the process of implants as his baby teeth only lasted so

long. I'd hate to see you put all that money into braces at your age, to only

have those same teeth crumble or give out with age (like 40ish or so).

I feel your pain, dear. In Alaska, we can only afford implants on the top

teeth, and they're, like, $10,000 so far and not even done!! Yikes. Insurance

only covers $1,500/year, and they want the money up front. So, go figure ...

$10,000 (+) less the $1,500.

So, there ya go. It's always something! Me and my gastric bypass, him and

his teeth.

Every dental appointment, I swear I'm gonna send the bill to his mom! =)
