The only attachment I had to mine was the cement that held them in

place, and, I suppose, the wires... Still, when the day came to take

them off, I told my doc that I was scared.

" Of this? " he said. " This is a piece of cake! " (It was indeed for

me, although it can be painful for those whose teeth are very

sensitive.)

" It's not the actual removal, " I told him. " It's that I know that

those teeth aren't going anywhere except where you put them, as long

as the brackets and wires are in place. "
