Help to relieve hot flashes

I have a question that I know was discussed awhile ago, but I can't

find it. A friend of mine is going through menopause and is having a

hard time with hot flashes. I remember there was talk about taking

something that helped this. Can someone please let me know so I can

pass this onto my friend. She is a non-WLS patient, nor is she MO,

but when I heard this 'cured' the hot flashes and I told her she said

for me to find out what it was. It was an herb if I remember so.
