Guest guest
About 10% of those who have the gall bladder removed will develop chronic diaherra. If you are not in that 10%, you probably will not notice any difference. Guest guest
Prior to having my GB removed, I was lactose intolerant as well as had a bad case of irritable bowel syndrome (diarrhea constantly) for many many years, but when I finally had my GB removed, it instantly cured the diarrhea, lactose intolerance, as well as the pain and discomfort I was feeling. This was also prior to my WLS. Each person is different so don't go by what other's may have/had happened. I was also told that with a lap Chole (GB removal) I would be recovering quickly (weekend)...it took me 4 months to recover. But then I had preloaded with protein prior to my WLS and recovered rather quickly (in like 2 weeks). Guest guest
I am one of that 10%. I have had diarrhea since the removal of my gall bladder 13 years ago. Nothing has changed. Except that I weigh less now.
