Guest guest
I know I'm not a moderator, but as a list member I have a lot of trouble when folks forget to edit their replies. It's really hard when you have to scroll down through SEVEN messages to be sure you've caught everything. . . not to mention that messages load much more slowly when they're so long. And some folks get digests, which means they have to scroll through the complete message (including all the forwarded stuff) before they are able to read the next new message. So if you want to reply to someone, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE highlight amd delete the extraneous text (after you press reply but before you press send!). It's not usually a problem if you include one message in your reply - but a back-and-forth dialog of several messages hanging on below your reply just makes it difficult for everyone. Cathy C. Guest guest
Cathy: Thanks for bringing this up. I've been thinking about it for a while, but haven't posted anything about it. It would be nice if people could edit their posts (because they can get REALLY long), and when appropriate, change the subject heading to reflect a new direction of a conversation.
