Guest guest
According to my arthropod, synvisc is iffy at best. Since I was desperate to try anything to avoid knee replacement, when I was MO, I went for the series of injections. They must remove the fluid from your knee joints and then inject this substance that is made from chicken combs. If you have any allergies to eggs, or chicken, this is ruled out. I had the series of injections, and nothing! YMMV on this. But the doc was pretty negative about it to begin with, as he hasn't seen a whole lot of success with it. BUT, I'd sure give it a go before going under for knee replacement. Never leave a stone unturned! Thankfully, I have bought some time with the knees as long as I baby them, after losing all the weight.
