Guest guest
Hello everyone. I am wondering something. When my teeth were wired together they met. However now that they are unwired my bottom jaw is pulling back at least 2 cm where my top teeth poke way out like buck teeth. If I push my bottom chin out my teeth meet but when relaxed and talking that bottom jaw receds again. I am trying to push my lower chin out so it will be " trained " to meet but I haven't a clue if this is even logical. Did anyone have this problem? What did your OS suggest? I know it is too soon but I am scared my lower jaw was moved too far back and is only correctable with........another procedure. I just can't do that I don't think. So many of you are on your second surgery and I feel for you. Jane
Guest guest
Jane, The bottom teeth are supposed to be behind the top teeth when you close your mouth. That is normal. Do your back teeth touch? That is the important thing. The front teeth will take care of themselves when chewing even though they don't touch tip to tip. Dave L. > > Hello everyone. I am wondering something.
