Guest guest
For those who have used stickers to decorate the helmet, will any kind work? Did you find they stay on well? My daughter is getting her CranioCap on Aug. 1 and I was thinking of a butterfly or a couple of flowers for her. I don't want to do too much, just add a little feminine touch to it. Suggestions? Thanks.
Guest guest
We use stickers to decorate 's pink Starband. The best ones to use are those that are flat, not puffy and have a clear back. The paper back stickers fade quickly and can be difficult to get off. I typically change out her stickers once a month and it is usually because I am tired of them, not because they are falling off. So far she has had hearts, butterflies, Harley son in pink, and right now she has flowers and bugs....if she keeps it on another month I think we'll go with a princess theme Hope that helps!! Have fun with the stickers!!! Dawn dd Starband - 12 weeks > > For those who have used stickers to decorate the helmet, will any kind > work? Did you find they stay on well? Guest guest
the clear backed plastic type work best, thinner stick better, actually the ones I found that stuck best were from the dollar tree but they did fade from alcohol on them. for paper ones I finally figured out to put some mod podge UNDER them to make them easier to peel, they stick fine but the edges start to fuzz if you dont put mod podge over them and if you dont put mod podge under them they are hard to remove whereas the plastic ones come up easily. a tiny bit of goo gone though would help to make the paper ones easier to scrape up. Guest guest
I found the vellum or clear stickers work best - The paper backed stickers don't last as long. I found great stickers in the Scrapbooking section at s and Target. I didn;t seal them with anything... I just bought several packets and changed them out as they would wear out - Usually about every 2-3 weeks. :-) Jen and Luli - 2.5 years old Left tort - Right Plagio - Hanger Band Grad - CA http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/j/jens5th/ Stickers?
