Guest guest
My guy also used some special cement, and he etched the crowns before he installed the brackets. He did tell me he might have to band one of my front teeth, and I told him to do it, if he needed, but the glue worked fine. I did lose the back brackets, mercifully, in the ortho's office as they tried to install some of the heavier wires. They'd kept the bands they started with, and just put those back on. No problem. I also had one bracket come loose somewhere during surgery. I was very close to the end of treatment, and the ortho actually bonded the wire to my tooth. I think I'd rather have had the bracket reinstalled, but he did the bonding, and it worked. By that point, it was principally just a place to hook an elastic.
