Guest guest
Hi Tina gosh what an exciting time ! I guess you read our Pams notes on her recent plastic surgery! I think I might do it at one point, but at the same time, I dont have that much money, I hate to refinace my house to do that, i have some money in retirement i could take out and have to pay tax on but my daughter is close to the stage of popping me with mom, I am engaged.................and I need to have some funding for that...................Its hard my boobs need work and my stomach skin is bad and my arms are REALLY bad and my thighs are bad but last priority i think.................... I am stoked for you ! Good luck in your choices you make, and my gosh look at the progress you have made ! I am one pound within my goal of 145.................never thought i would get this close to it.......................it feels good doesnt it ? ColleenTina wrote: Well, today I had my plastic surgery consult with Dr. T. Longo in Sacramento. He is the funniest man! Considering your standing there basically buck naked, he makes you feel very comfortable and you are always laughing. Anyway, he gave me a price quote for a torso lift, breast lift/augmentation, medial thigh lift, and brachioplasty. All that for the grand total of $27,235. Woo-hoo! Yikes! I knew it was going to be that much so it wasn't a huge shock. My husband, however, thought it was only going to be about $14-15K for all that work. Yeah right! I wish. Now that I have a price, I have to prioritize. I can't decide what to do first...arms/breasts or torso lift. The thigh lift I might actually NOT have to have depending upon the results of the torso lift.He did a great job of explaining anatomy and how things heal. Basically we are a big T-bone steak...skin, fat, fascia, muscle, bone. Because the surgery is pretty much only working with skin and fat, there is very little pain. Good to know! It's not under general anesthesia ... it's conscious sedation.Who'd thunk 11 months ago, I was rolling into surgery at 294 pounds and now I'm thinking about reconstructing this body of mine? Amazing...the last year has been an amazing ride!TinaDr. Baggs5/24/05Orientation: 330Surgery: 294Today: 180Height: 5 feet 11-1/2 inches38 years old Colleen
Guest guest
Wow Colleen! You are a skinny minny! ) Do people tell you that you need to stop losing? I'm 163 and already getting the *too thin* comments at work. I don't believe them! LOL I want to get to 151, cuz then I'll be exactly half my all time highest weight. I'll actually be half the person I was! Too cool... Laurie __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi Laurie- well my face and arms are very thin as are my thighs but with clothes off you can see the hanging skin LOL, Some people at work say you look thinner than last time, you are going to stop loosing ARENT YOU ? I think I am fine where I am, I sometimes read about people two and three years out who gain back about 20 so the thought of 135 entered my mind but for my body frame, i would look not well at that low of a weight................. The thing about work is I started out the heaviest and now I am the thinnest except for one person.............. I bet you are looking great have you posted any new pictures lately ? Hope your feeling good too ! take care ColleenLLLORY@... wrote: Wow Colleen! You are a skinny minny! ) Do peopletell you that you need to stop losing?
