Guest guest
Absolutely proceed with caution. Dh was given Vioxx preop for his torn Achilles tendons, per surgeons request (to get him off the Advil). Immediately post op he developed a 1 inch ulcer, no wonder he lost 41 pounds before he had his staples out, he couldn't eat or drink. Vioxx commercials started saying, " may cause bleeding " or something like that, how true that was. He's still on Protonix for it. Just be careful. YMMV Lori NY Re: anti-inflammatory advice needed > Celebex and Vioxx are in the same family as ibuprofen and Motrin.
