Guest guest
Congratulations on the birth of your baby Larry. The baby will probably get some x-rays to find out if it is a true clubfoot or not. The deffect might be just positional in which case the treatment will be easy (the positional clubfoot stretches out almost by itself). I have never posted photos here but I guess if you go to the photos link on the left hand side of this page there will be a way to upload them. Front side, lateral, bottom and back of the foot will tell weather the foot has deep creases and other things but the degree of stiffness, dorsiflexion or if its positional only the doctor could tell. Good luck andra > > My wife gave birth to a 7 lb, 12 ounce little boy last week and > as expected the baby has clubfoot. Guest guest
Larry, The photos section on this group is usually pretty full. To get more feedback you can post photos by joining the CFPics group here: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/CFPics/ That group accepts attachments so you can put your pictures right into the email. There is a small survey to complete to become a member, look for it in your email inbox on the address you sign up with. Once you complete that and send it back you can be approved for membership. We do try to keep the photos section there for " educational " purposes but the attachment feature lets everyone share pictures (feet AND faces!). We'd love to have you share pics of your little one and hopefully we can give you at least our thoughts on the questionable foot. Of course I'm sure your doctor will be able to diagnose best -- who did you decide to go to? It is difficult to take pictures of newborns feet that are meaningful, but I would try to get some with a top view, bottom view, and back view. Congratulations on the birth of your son! --- hersh222 wrote: > My wife gave birth to a 7 lb, 12 ounce little > boy last week and > as expected the baby has clubfoot.
