Guest guest
Has anyone ever had problem with one foot? The left foot goes into the shoe no problem, but we have to fight with the right foot every time. It's hard to get the heel down to strap it in. I asked nurse about it and she said that's normal, but somehow it didn't reassure me.
Guest guest
Have you tried taking the shoes off the bar, then putting the shoes on and then re-attaching the bar? This is really helpful. Has this been a problem all along, or is it a new problem? If it is a new problem you may want to consider that the right foot could be trying to relapse a little and have the Dr. check it out. Also, as wonderful as Nurses are, there are times, if you feel something is wrong you should get the doctor's opinion directly. If this has been a problem all along you may also want to consider that the right foot may not be fully corrected. Who is your doctor? Does your child (sorry I can't remember if it is a boy or girl) have as good of flexibility on the right foot as the left? Just a few thoughts, hope this helps, and please let us know a bit more so we can help you more. Thanks, > > Has anyone ever had problem with one foot? Guest guest
Yes, we have problems with 's right foot. Both with getting her into the shoes and with her removing that shoe. I do not remove the shoes from the bar to put them on. I have heard this helps, but I'm not comfortable with messing with them like that. I always start by putting the right shoe on first and that has helped tremendously. Also, if you are having trouble with just one foot, maybe it is not corrected fully? Guest guest
I've never tried taking the shoes off the bar. In fact, I've never done it before. My husband has, but I haven't. We haven't really had this problem before, just with this pair of shoes. I was afraid it was a relapse thing, but we just had our check up in August with xrays and everything and Dr Westberry said everything looked good. I'm going to schedule an appt anyway just to be on the safe side. As far as flexibility goes, Nate hasn't been worse on one foot than the other, but I still think its strange that I have a harder time getting the heel down than the other foot which just slips in. On top of everything else, the right foot is always the foot that gets out of the shoe every once in a while. He did it again last night. I just wonder this is recently a problem. I want to know if its the shoes or his foot! > > > > Has anyone ever had problem with one foot? Guest guest
I've definitely tried putting the right foot in first and it helped a little, but not a lot. I wonder if it is coincidence about it being he right foot? Maybe it has to do with what side of their body is more dominant than the other? Hmmm...something I'm going to ask the dr. > > > > Has anyone ever had problem with one foot? Guest guest
I wonder if the right foot is narrower than the left? The Markell shoes do come in narrows. > > > > > > Has anyone ever had problem with one foot?
