Just a note to let you know that tomorrow will be one week post op

for my breast lift with implants and tummy tuck (tightening of the

muscles). I have to say that I did not experience any of the

things that I read about. First of all, I have NOT had any pain and

I truly believe that is because they make you take codiene and

valium like clock work. Second of all, I have not had to walk bent

over not once. I have been doing my normal routine (making

breakfast, doing laundry, dusting) but not anything where I had to

bend over and reach really far because I am told we are not to be

doing too much reaching.

I had my first check up with the doctor yesterdat and she was

impressed because I have no bruising which she said patients have a

little but I had none. The only let down for me was the fact that

my tubes were not ready to come out. She said to come back Thurday

and she would see if they have stopped draining enough to take them

out. Without sounding liking I am bragging or anything, I have to

tell you guys that I have the prettiest set of breasts that I have

ever seen, honest to God. My tummy is so flat that it does not even

look real. It simply amazes me. I am so glad that I did this. I

can definitely say that its complete for me now.

I have to tell you that I taunt my husband just a bit. I was told

by Robynn that it is a good idea to massage the breast because this

keeps them nice and soft, ect. So I do this periodically throughout

the day and I get the biggest kick out of watching my husband

because he just sits there in awe. I am telling you the breast are

beautiful. I told him that I am turning myself on-lol.

Anyway, I just wanted to talk with you all and let you know that all

is well and my plastic surgery experience was a breeze. It was and

is totally pain free and again, it is because they told me to take

the pain meds every three to four hours. I have not had much of a

apetite so I have not been eating much of anything but I do drink

water (not much eating at all). I gained 10 pounds from the fluids

from the surgery and it is just now starting to come off. On some

level I believe that is what happened to my apetite. I mean being

upset about that but my surgeon told me that it happens and not to

focus on it. For anyone wanting to have the surgeries, I say go for

it. My surgeon and the nurse that I saw called me their litle

poster board child.

Thanks for listening and for everything.

Robynn, the flowers that you sent me are so beautiful, very exotic

and when I am sitting here in the house wishing that I could go

somewhere but really can't right now, it takes me back to the

Bahamas so I really appreciate it. By the way, I forgot to tell you

HAPPY BIRTHDAY so please forgive me. I will have to make it up to

you. I will take you to lunch or something when I get back to

work...okay? Love you dearly!

Thanks Pam! I will one day be needing some if not all of these surgeries and I will have to get a job to save up for them but you are encouraging and this is all good stuff to know! Congrats again! Colleen, I was worried about the pain post surgery to.

As a matter of fact, that was my only concern. But as

it turns out, there was none because of the narcotics.

I think I called Robynn about three or four times as

well as my friend and really did not remember

talking to them.

It was not bad Colleen and I am very pleased. I stand

there looking at my body and I am amazed even with the

scar at the pubic area. It doesn't matter. I am just

in awe with it all. I hope when the day comes that

you will be as happy as I am right now. Thanks for

always being here with me. In some way, you are my

surgery sistah as well being that you had surgery I

think two days after I did. Anyway, I am going to go

sit next to my hubby and massage my breast to

entertain him a little bit. lol. Sorry for this being

X-Rated.

Pam - I am so glad you are happy with your new boobs. And you are

doing so great! Can you tell me what the recovery time is? I don't

know if you work outside the home but if you did, how long would you

be off? I am planning to have it all done (so I say now)when I get

down to where I want to be and can stay there for a while. I'm just

gathering up my notes now. I guess we don't get pictures, do we?

Pam I am so happy for you, can't wait to do this but really want to do my trip next year first. Then I will be ready! I will call you next week, after I do the Relay for Life cancer relay Friday and Saturday. I want to come see you, we can make a good time that works for both of us. Take care. Pam, this is so geat. I kind of figure that at 65 I should just give

it up. My breasts are floppy soft but OK still as I have not lost

all the weight but God knows what I will look like. I am already

embarassed by my loose skin and I will not let my husband gaze upon

my legs. I very much hope to see a new picture of you soon. I am

very envious. Love to you and I hope you feel even finer soon- With

love, Lilka

Pam, this is so geat. I kind of figure that at 65 I should just give

it up. My breasts are floppy soft but OK still as I have not lost

all the weight but God knows what I will look like. I am already

embarassed by my loose skin and I will not let my husband gaze upon

my legs. I very much hope to see a new picture of you soon. I am

very envious. Love to you and I hope you feel even finer soon- With

love, Lilka

Pam:

It's obvious that all the prayers for you worked!

I'm so happy with your painfree and esthetically pleasing results.

I think now more than ever you'll see that reconstructive surgery

really is the final step of our physical transformation--and one that

I think everyone should have covered by Kaiser.
