Guest guest
Joy- Grant is such a cute little boy-or should I say big boy. He looks long in the pictures. I gotta say-his feet have made some amazing progress. I can see why you would want to go to Dr P for an opinion and some treatment-but the doctor who has taken care of Grant so far seems to me to have done a good job. Those little tootsies are soo cute. Good luck with the trip and I hope Rose gets a positive report! Thanks for sharing the pictures, he really is beautiful. Guest guest
Joy, Grant is adorable! I have to say, Grant's left foot reminds me of how Kai's foot looked at birth. I wish I had clear photos from that time! Give you precious boy a kiss from us Angel Progression of Grant's feet This is a yahoo photo album of Grant's feet. He is on his fifth set of casts. Guest guest
Joy, Thanks for sharing the pictures of Grant's castings/feet and Rose's feet! Grant sure is growing fast! He is so sweet! And that picture of Rose holding him is really adorable! Have you been able to get a picture of all 4 together yet? I can't even get a pic of my 3 lately! I will be curious to hear what Dr. P recommends for Grant's treatment taking his knee issues into account. I was wondering if maybe there was a way to incorporate a brace that would hold the bottom of the foot (casted part) aligned with the rest of the leg with some kind of bars and thigh strap.....so you could take it off to exercise his knees, but put it back on to hold the ankle and foot in the right position when you weren't working on the knees. Or maybe a type of KAFO that would fit over the cast? I'm thinking of the contraption that my brother wore as a child to work on his " duck feet " where he wore brown orthotic shoes with thigh high jointed bars that came up his legs to tie the feet into the upper thigh. Anyway, we're all here for you whenever you need us! &
