Guest guest
Hi everyone, Greetings from the Mc house in Iowa. My husband and I took our daughter to see Dr. Ponseti and Morcuende this morning and she had a second tenotomy. It is amazing how brave that little is. She cried a lot during the procedure but after her usual nap she is the same happy baby. got fitted for AFO's this time. The doctors told us that since she doesn't flex her feet upwards, the heel cord has not stretched out enough. Therefore, she is going to use the AFO's full time once she comes out of the casts. Anyone out there in a similar situation? How do they work? Do they help and if so, what happens if the baby never flexes the foot beyond 90 degrees on her own? has bilateral atypical clubfeet and is 9 months old. Thank you for your help, andra
