Guest guest
In general, if everything goes well as expected, your child can wear what every you and he find comfortable. You can just follow the typical baby-shoe protocol, what ever fits well and feels good for that age range. I know some parents aim for the upper-end quality like Stride Rite, but I didn't (don't). Partly because the Stride Rite dealer near us was the most rude store in the world....but mostly because my kids just didn't seem to need anything special. I do avoid stiff shoes, but I'd avoid them on a non-club foot baby too. Really it's hard to cross this bridge until you get to it. Sounds like you have a big Christmas ahead of you getting past the casting phase! Nice way to start a new year! s. shoes after 23/7 in the DBB? This is premature on my part because my son won't be out of casts until around Christmas, but I am thinking ahead. What kind of shoes can babies wear after they graduate to wearing the shoes and bar at naps and night? 6-19-05, unilateral left
Guest guest
I haven't found a sandle Everett can wear yet either but I don't know if that is the cf or just the baby foot since toddler sandles are built so stiff anyway. was actually 5 before I found sandles he could wear with out blistering. s. shoes after 23/7 in > the DBB? > > > This is premature on my part because my son won't be > out of casts until > around Christmas, but I am thinking ahead. Guest guest
I find with Kelsey that it does not matter where I get the shoe either. It is the shoe that matters and I have to be very picky about that. She cannot wear shoes that have a high arch built into them so I am always looking for shoes with a flatter construction. Also, as a parent of a toddler, I LOATHE velcro closures so that also gives me some headaches. Kelsey also could not wear sandals of any kind this summer. Everytime I tried a pair, she would get sores on her feet. I actually have good luck for shoes at KMart and other places such as this. ONline, I love pedoodles.com. These shoes are fabulous and Kelsey loves to wear them. In these I really like the fact that it is not a big deal that her feet are two different sizes. Also, try Baby Gap. I have a pair of navy leather mary janes (in 2 sizes) that I found there online. THey were on sale, so I only paid $ 12.99 for each pair and they are really nice shoes. If they came in my size, I would wear them. Jenni --- number23 wrote: > In general, if everything goes well as expected, > your child can wear what every you and he find > comfortable. Guest guest
I bought Grace the cutest little white leather sandals with pink flowers on them. They were Buster Brown's and the part that covered the top of the foot was adjustable so I thought, these will be perfect, that's why I spent something crazy like $30 bucks for them. She wore them just once and I saw the start of a blister, well that was it, they got packed away quick. If anyone does know of a brand of sandal that is comfy and dosent' seem to cause blisters (maybe a neoprene type material), I would love to know...would really like to find some sandals for her for next summer! & Grace > > > In general, if everything goes well as expected, > > your child can wear what every you and he find > > comfortable. Guest guest
I bought some for Kestrel one summer (a year ago?) at Baby Gap that were neoprene and rubber and we had no trouble with them. Also got a similar pair at Roots, too. Maybe check them both out when the summer stuff comes in? --- wrote: --------------------------------- I bought Grace the cutest little white leather sandals with pink flowers on them.
