Thank you all so much!!

Yes, our little guy Marcus was born on Thursday...completely adorable

(but I'm biased). He came two weeks early (his way of easing his poor

mama's anxiety and prove to me that I worried for nothing). Of course,

one of the first things I did as soon as he was born was to look at

his left clubfoot. As soon as I saw that cute little foot, I realized

what an idiot I had been to make such as big deal of it throughout my

pregnancy. I know it can be a shock when you first find out, but what

a blessing to have a little baby to fall in love with. Now, though

he's only 6 days old, his foot looks cuter and cuter every day. I

can't tell you how many times I've kissed it! We have our first

appointment with Dr. in Arizona on the 17th. As adorable as

his foot and the rest of him is, I just can't wait to get the process

started. I will take pictures of his foot and post them soon. Thank

you for your support and encouragement!

Congratulations on the birth of your son! My daughter, , came 5 weeks

early and she was born with bilateral clubfeet, we also knew via ultrasound.

And like you, I did my research while pregnant--this support group has been my

crutch. is seeking treatment with the Ponseti method at Shriners. We

have had a great experience so far. At three months, she will be out of her

final casts (she had the tenetomy) next Monday and starts the shoes.

We had a stint with the Markell shoes, but her left foot relapsed.

I thought 's feet were adorable too when she was born! It is good you

have time with your son before you start the process. Take lots of pictures,

family/friends will be amazed at the changes you will see! Best of luck to you
