Guest guest
I kinda remember this from the baby books and I went to check it and I did remember it right. In the baby book " What to expect in the first year " a baby care book, they caution parents about giving honey to babies under a 1 year of age. Honey may contain spores of Clostridium botulinum ( which is harmless to adults) It could cause botulism. The book points out it is very rare. I don't know how valid this is but it is in a baby cre book. It got me wondering if honey was such a good thing for our kids with problematic immune systems. Anyone heard anything about that? I hate to think of one more thing our kids can't have. Maybe some one has run into this before. Jeneane, Houston
