We got our helmet!

We went to the Hanger satellite office in Farmington CT yesterday, it's right

next to UConn Health Center. We met with and she fitted Jake (my son) with

his helmet.

It took several adjustments, shaving it down, to make it fit just right. She was

very intent on making sure it was fitting properly and that we felt comfortable

with the fit. She also had us put it on and take it off several times so that we

knew how to correctly place it. Everything went great. again took all the

time we needed, never rushing us, we spent two hours there, going over questions

and doing the fitting.

Over the next week we are going to gradually transition Jake to wear it full

time, 23 hours a day. Being that he is only 4 1/2 months I have high hopes that

this will be easy. He only seems to fuss while we are putting it on or taking it

off, once it's on he's fine.

I will post again after our next appointment next week or before then if there

are any issues.

under J in the photos section. Title: Jake Almeida. It has an American Flag

design, Hanger offers a wide range of colors and patterns. We are very happy

with our selection.
