Guest guest
, We had the test run on my son, and had several that were plus 3 or 4 that he has never had. On the other hand several that he eats quite a bit were on the list as plus 1 or 2 and never really showed a reation to that I could tell. He showed plus 4 on pineapple & tomato and plus 2 & 3 on all citrus fruits so I'm assuming it has to do with the acidity. He always broke out in a rash when eating anything with those foods. We are currently chelating for heavy metals and see Dr. Amy Holmes in Baton Rouge because while improved tremendously on the diet, I suspected more was going on too. He tested high in mercury, arsenic, antimony and aluminum. Anyway, back to the ELISA, Dr. Holmes said to take out foods that were PLUS 2 and above which was a relief because there were alot of plus 1 foods on his list. I try to at least rotate the plus 1 foods. It IS very hard to be GFCF and then see that list of mostly favorite foods on the test. Luckily is a trooper and a good eater even when I bomb stuff. This kid LOVES broccoli and greens! Now if it were his brother we'd have a major problem... Hang in there! Suzanne (Pensacola)
