Guest guest
On this list, I have learned that the RNY is different and is NOT a one size fits all surgery. This makes me wonder EVEN MORE how insurance companies can so easily approve RNY, when they don't even know what they are approving? Maybe the DS Dr.s should change the name to some snappy name with RNY in it, like " RNYduoswitch with no pouch " or something else with rny in it and the insurance companies will still approve. After all, they are approving not ONE type of surgeries with RNY, but MANY different procedures, only the 3 initials make them think they are all the same. What other RNY names can you folks come up with? RNYanti, RNYnew, RNYNO, etc. Carole
