Guest guest
Hello! Thanks for your feedback about the shoes and if they should be new or used. Anyway, we had quite a weekend, our baby girl, Keira Anais was born on Sunday! We went in for an ECV (version) where they try to manually turn the baby. I figured I would be there for 3 or 4 hours or if unsuccessful, that we'd be scheduling a c-section for next week. The OB was able to do the version fairly easily. She was an unstable lie so everytime they checked, she had moved to a new position: breech, oblique, transverse, you name it! Once he turned her to the head down position, he said we should induce labour so that the contractions would keep her down and she could be born naturally. The induction process took a while to get going and there was a few tense moments as they were worried about cord prolapse with an unstable lie, but she was born pink and screaming just about 24 hours later. I have attached a picture, if you like, and she does have a little right club foot. The pediatrician who checked her said it was mild-moderate and had some flexibility so I am hoping it's not on the severe end of things. Please let me know what you think...I know the picture isn't that good so I will take one of her foot and post that in a day or two so you experts can give me your take on it! Anyway, she will go for her first cast next Thursday so I am praying that will all go well and that we've made a good choice in drs. It is nice to just cuddle her and get to know and enjoy her for a week or so before we delve in to the treatment process, just as many of you said. Thanks for all of your help and support so far! I appreciate it very much. Guest guest
Thanks Jenni! I just posted a picture of Keira on that group. I will post a clearer one of her foot soon.
