Hi Shari...

I just got back from Spain. I had surgery on the 24th of July and am about 5

weeks out now... Dr. Baltasar is an excellent surgeon and also is probably

the nicest, most compassionate Dr. I've ever met. He never rushed, saw me

three times a day while I was in the Clinica. If you check out my web site

below you can see some of the pics I've gotten up so far. I haven't had the

energy to finish!

There is a list called DrBaltasar-duodenalswitch on yahoo groups.

My surgery was only 110 min. It came to about 10,300 dollars american. I

was in the clinica for 5 days and then stayed in a hotel till it was time to

fly home. Spain is gorgeous so its no hardship being in a hotel next to the

water!!!

Ask me anything you want to know...I'll try to fill you in. I don't regret

my chose, have nothing negative to say about anything there. If I had to do

it again knowing what I know right now, and my insurance decided to pay...I

would still go to Spain.
