Guest guest
, Do not feel hopeless about this. Talk to everyone here about every little thing. It helps. I went through surgery hell and am still not well and am 4 1/2 months out. I know I am getting better and thanks to these wonderful people my mental state in nearly intact. Hugs. Yes, the first 3 weeks I thought I'd never feel as if I'd had no surgery but suddenly during the 4th week that all changed. I have no incision pain when bending over...and my BMI was 64 when I had my surgery. I didn't realize the stomach had nerves but I don't recall it ever hurting....I had some pain from using muscles in that area when trying to get up...but that is all gone now. Also I was told after about 9 or 10 days...the chance of a leak go down dramatically. I think the only thing I worry about are adhesions. But I didn't do this to stress over what MIGHT happen.....I MIGHT have died without this surgery...Now I plan on enjoying the weight loss and living!!!! What supplements are you taking to spend 200 a month??? I couldnt afford that either. I take ADEK, tums, a multi that is similar to Vita4life and an iron tablet...I think all together its under 100 dollars... I hope things get better for you if you're having a hard recovery. I know we all recovery differently..but I hope you're gets better! ~~* AJ *~~ Age 37 5'8'' Post op 7/24/01 Open BPD/DS self pay - Dr Baltasar -Alcoy Spain 07/24/01 BMI 64 415.1 08/06/01 BMI 59 390.2 -24.9 lbs! -10.75 inches 08/16/01 BMI 58 387.0 -28.1 lbs! -11.25 inches 08/24/01 BMI 58 386.5 -28.6 lbs! -15.5 inches 08/30/01 BMI 58 378.3 -36.8 lbs! -21.25 inches My personal website: www.WLS4AJ.homestead.com Check out the Bellingham Support Group at WWW.WLSBellingham.homestead.com
