Guest guest
If your child (I think you said son--forgive me if I got it wrong) still fits in the crib and is not doing scary things trying to climb out, why not leave things the way they are as long as possible? My son slept in a crib until almost 3. If he weren't so tall, we'd have let him sleep in the crib longer. Is he literally outgrowing it, or does it just seem like the time to move him? I found that if I give him Metalonin and make sure he didn't have anything he reacts to during the day that he doesn't do it quite as much. I really don't know what else to do. I can't tie the mattress down because I have to beable to get the sheet on. It is a normal sheet that I have to pin closed on the underside because he kept tearing off the crib sheets. I would let him sleep on the plastic but then he started tearing the plastic off. I am about ready to buy him a new mattress if i don't come up with any other ideas cause he is slowly breaking it down. I am in the next room to him whenever I put him in bed so I can hear him if he starts picking up the mattress. This is the only thing that keeps me from being too fearful of hurting himself. He also sleeps soundly at night never wakes up, so no fear of him waking in the middle of the night to play. Melinda
