Guest guest
Seems to me I read years ago that autistic people often show instances of heavy metals, without explanation. OTOH, some 4 years ago, Philip showed above-average lead levels, and the state made me feel like a crummy parent because of it. After an investigation, the only lead that was detected was on exterior windows, and a small amount on a high closet window that he could never get at. When there was obviously no source of lead, the state lost interest in everything except making sure that somehow *we* bore the onus of high lead levels. Well, the answer was the Chicago water system. " Never mind; nothing to see here; move along, move along. " We're going to be applying for SSI and most likely having tests done; it will be interesting to see what they say about heavy metals and Philip's lead levels now that we live in Milwaukee. Matter of fact, maybe that should be something I bring up. Kate
