Guest guest
Dr. Baltasar does not staple the incision...when you first come out of surgery it looks like there is skin pulled up over the actual incision and sutured...so it pokes up abit...then on the 4th day he undoes those and you see the actual incision. On the 5th day I had all the rest of the stitches removed. I have just a thin red line now...you can see afew of the lines from the other sutures but only faintly. It should scar up real nice and thin....I've seen the scars from staples and I'm really glad mine was done this way...they didn't stay in as long, less scarring and because he does the incision horizontal...when I get my tummy tuck...I'll have no scar high up...I dont really care if I still have a scar but it is an added bonus if I decide to do the tummy tuck later!! > Did you say > > he sewed you instead of stapling? ~~* AJ *~~ Age 37 5'8'' Post op 7/24/01 Open BPD/DS self pay - Dr Baltasar -Alcoy Spain 07/24/01 BMI 64 415.1 08/06/01 BMI 59 390.2 -24.9 lbs! -10.75 inches 08/16/01 BMI 58 387.0 -28.1 lbs! -11.25 inches 08/24/01 BMI 58 386.5 -28.6 lbs! -15.5 inches 08/30/01 BMI 58 378.3 -36.8 lbs! -21.25 inches My personal website: www.WLS4AJ.homestead.com Check out the Bellingham Support Group at WWW.WLSBellingham.homestead.com
