this is what Dr Welker does too.....His stomas for the RNYers never get

blocked either becuz of how he works his magic.....

He does alot of handsewing in his surgeries.

Dr. Baltasar does not staple the incision...when you first come out of

surgery it looks like there is skin pulled up over the actual incision and

sutured...so it pokes up abit...then on the 4th day he undoes those and you

see the actual incision. On the 5th day I had all the rest of the stitches

removed. I have just a thin red line now...you can see afew of the lines

from the other sutures but only faintly. It should scar up real nice and

thin....I've seen the scars from staples and I'm really glad mine was done

this way...they didn't stay in as long, less scarring and because he does the

incision horizontal...when I get my tummy tuck...I'll have no scar high

up...I dont really care if I still have a scar but it is an added bonus if I

decide to do the tummy tuck later!!
