Guest guest
So today we are going for Hayden's tenotomy, unless anything has changed and Dr. Pirani tells us otherwise. For anyone who was wondering - I got the quote yesterday for the shoes (without the bar as Angel has offered us her spare - thanks again!) We decided to go through the orthotics place because we were told we may have problems getting it covered if we went directly through . Anyway, the total for the shoes is $900 CDN. Whew! But hubby and I both feel that we will pay whatever it costs so we can see our son walk and run. I am not sure if my extended (hubby is self-employed) will cover the entire cost, and Dr. Pirani said he would write a letter with whatever wording would help, but we figure even if we have to take the whole burden ourselves, so be it. Anyway - there you have it! I will post later today if I get the chance and let you know how it went. Our appointment is at 1:00 (PST) today. Guest guest
Best wishes to you today with the tenotomy!! Quick question for you-- I'm wondering why the shoes are so much money? Maybe I've just looked into the wrong thing, but the Markell Shoes are cheap here in Illinois--about $130 for the shoes and the bar... Are these totally different than the Shoes?
