Guest guest Posted September 4, 2000 Report Share Posted September 4, 2000 You have to remember that partof the way we can eat is caused by the malabsorbing....if we ate the same before surgery we'd not necessarily lose weight. ~~* AJ *~~ Thank you for stating this, I have exactly that problem, nomatter what or how much I eat, I do not lose weight, due to malapsorption and also my meds react differently as well. It takes two - even 4 days for xenical to go through my system, the amount of pain killers and antibiotics I have to use is much different from a healthy person.
